Great Baddow High School

Great Baddow High School is an 11 – 18 Year olds comprehensive secondary school in Chelmsford, Essex, England. In September 2002, the school was awarded specialist Sports College status. The school then converted into academy status in July 2011 and retains its sports specialism, adopting Science as a second specialism in 2014.

Overview

In 1965 Great Baddow High School – as Baddow Comprehensive - opened time with 16 staff and 227 children joining ‘the First Year’.[1] The Latin motto translates to "We always strive for higher things" Students join the school from primary schools in the Chelmsford area
