Gundala the Son of Lightning

Gundala the Son of Lightning (Indonesian: Gundala Putra Petir) is an upcoming Indonesian superhero film produced by Bumilangit Studios and is a sequel to Gundala (2019).[1] It was announced in 2019 as part of the Volume 1 films in the Bumilangit Cinematic Universe film series which began with the release of Gundala.[2]

Production

The film was first announced in August 2019 ahead of the release of Gundala.[2] Joko Anwar, who wrote and directed Gundala, was announced as the executive producer who will oversee the development of all Volume 1 films in the Bumilangit Cinematic Universe.[3]
