Siddique was educated at both Denstone College and Repton School, before studying Theology at Cardiff University.[1] While attending the university, he was selected to play for Cardiff MCCU, making his first-class debut in the team's inaugural first-class match against Somerset at Taunton Vale Sports Club Ground in 2012. He made a second first-class appearance for the team in that same season against Warwickshire at Edgbaston.[2] He was a member of Derbyshire's squad for the 2012 season but failed to make any first-team appearances.[3]

Siddique studied Philosophy and Theology at Cardiff University during which he decided to retire from cricket and pursue his dream of being an actor. After being accepted into The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, he has since appeared in several episodes of BBC Doctors and a number of successful short films.
