Hanna Volodymyrivna Beliba (birth surname) was born in Dnipro on April 1, 1970. He graduated from the Oles Honchar Dnipro National University. Postgraduate study at Kyiv National Linguistic University.

Since 1995 she teaches English at the National Pedagogical Dragomanov University.

Since 2006 she is the head of the department of foreign languages, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University.[2]

In 2016, a man who has arrived in Kyiv from occupied territory in Donbas has attempted to stab Hanna Turchynova, the wife of National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine chief Oleksandr Turchynov while she was at work.[3] The culprit had been waiting for the woman outside her work office. Because the man was relying on a photo from the Internet, on which Hanna Turchynova had a short hair cut, poor lighting led him to attack another teacher with a similar hair cut. Having caught her by the neck, he put a knife to her throat and addressed the teacher as Hanna Volodymyrivna, advising her not to resist.[4]
