Havelte
Havelte is a village in the northeastern Netherlands. It is located in the municipality of Westerveld, Drenthe, about 60 km south-southwest of Groningen and 120 km northeast of Amsterdam.

Havelte was a separate municipality until 1998, when it became a part of Westerveld.[2]
In 2001, the village of Havelte had 2770 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 1.1 km², and contained 1207 residences.[3] The statistical area "Havelte", which can also include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 3630.[4]
