Hiba Bukhari

Hiba Bukhari (Urdu: ہبہ بخاری‎) is a Pakistani television actress. Bukhari has played a role of Seemal in the Hum TV's Thori Si Wafa (2017) for which she won the Hum Award for Best Soap Actress. She is known for her leading roles in Bholi Bano (2017), Silsilay (2018), Haara Dil (2018), Ramz-e-Ishq (2019), Deewangi (2019) and Tarap (2020). In her acting career, Bukhari has paired opposite acclaimed actors including Danish Taimoor, Syed Jibran, Junaid Khan and Mikaal Zulfiqar.

Personal life

Bukhari was born in Karachi to a Sindhi family on 10 April 1988. She obtained her F.Sc from Jinnah Government College in the suburb of Nazimabad. Prior to entering acting, she was employed as a receptionist; she soon received a job offer for modeling, which she accepted, thus becoming part of the showbiz industry.[1]

Career

Hiba started her acting career after completing her studies. She marked her debut with Geo TV's Rom-ComTeri Meri Jodi in a supporting role and soon started appearing as lead. She followed her acting career with a leading role in Bholi Bano in which she played innocent girl opposite Syed Jibran as lead.[2] Her appearance in Hum TV's soap opera Thori Si Wafa gain her recognition and also an award for the Best Soap Actress at Hum Awards.[3] She also appeared in anthology series Yeh Ishq Hai short episode "Teri Meri Kahani" opposite Agha Ali. In 2018 she appeared as mischievous Hira in Silsilay with Junaid Khan and later in Haara Dil opposite Danish Taimoor.[4][5]
