The teaser of the highly-awaited KGF Chapter 2 has created a huge record by garnering more than 160 million views, and it is the most-viewed teaser in the world within 24 hours. Within few minutes of the release, KGF 2 teaser became the number 1 Twitter trend in India. Whopping more than 160 million views on YouTube making it most-viewed film teaser on YouTube(https://www.youtube.com/c/HombaleFilms) is a rare feat in the whole entertainment industry.

History

Hombale Films is owned by Vijay Kiragandur, a young entrepreneur from Bangalore entered Sandalwood with the film Ninnindale. Released in 2014, the film starred Puneeth Rajkumar. The film was completely shot abroad. Next Masterpiece released in 2015, succeeded in boxoffice.

Their third venture Raajakumara became an industry hit. It reportedly grossed more than Rs. 75 crores in the Karnataka box office and was a industry hit.[1][2]

Their fourth film K.G.F: Chapter 1 directed by Prashanth Neel. First Kannada cinema to enter the Rs 200 crore club worldwide, collected more than 250 crores [3][4] struck gold at the box office and won audiences across languages. Movie was dubbed and released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. It did well in all languages.[5]

Upcoming films

Hombale Films next venture Yuvarathnaa which is second collaboration with Puneeth Rajkumar after Raajakumara, will be released on 1 April, this is the first bilingual film of production house releasing in both Kannada and Telugu.

Hombale Films is also working on K.G.F: Chapter 2 which is an upcoming Indian Kannada-language period action film directed by Prashanth Neel. The film is a sequel to K.G.F: Chapter 1, which was released in 2018. Yash is reprising his lead role from the first film and Hindi actor Sanjay Dutt will star as the antagonist, marking his debut in Kannada. The film is going to be released in 2021 and will be dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages.[6][7]

After K.G.F series and Yuvarathnaa now Hombale Films are working on Salaar which is an upcoming Indian film in which lead role is played by Pan Indian Super Star Prabhas, directed by Prashant Neel [8] and Bagheera with Sriimurali in lead role directed by Dr Suri and Written by Prashant Neel.
