Hruta Durgule

Hruta Durgule (born 12 September 1994)[2][3][4][5] is an Indian television and film actress. She made her television debut with Durva (2013).[6] She made her big-screen debut with Ananya Marathi film.[7][8] She rose to prominence with her portrayal of Durva in Durva and Vaidehi in Phulpakharu.[9]

Early life

Hruta Durgule was born on 12 September 1994.[10] She is originally from Ratnagiri but brought up in Mumbai and completed education from Ramnarain Ruia College, Matunga, Mumbai.[11][12]

Career

Hruta started her career with Durva that aired on Star Pravah. She was only 18, when she started acting in this. In 2017, she starred in Phulpakharu serial that aired on Zee Yuva, that aired for about 2.5 years.[13] In 2018, She began playing a role in drama Dada Ek Good News Ahey.,[14][15] alongside Umesh Kamat, Rishi Manohar and Aarti More. The play is produced by Priya Bapat. She played the character of Mrunmayee (aka Chiu) in Strawberry Shake. The short film was released on ZEE5 Premium, in the lockdown.[16] In 2020, she hosting the show Singing Star[17][18][19] and debuted in the Marathi film industry with Ananya. Ananya, produced by Ravi Jadhav, is yet to be released, owing to covid19.[20][21] Ananya is yet to be released , owing to Covid’19. Singing Star was her debut performance as a host. She is also a part of a new web series, alongside Suvrat Joshi, named Duet. Duet is yet to release as well.[22]

In 2019, she was described as the most attractive women of Marathi Television.[23][24] She was ranked first in The Times of India's Top 15 most desirable women in Marathi television 2018 and she was ranked second in the The Times of India's 2020.[25][26] She is the most popular Marathi television actress.[27]
