Hvardiiske, Simferopol Raion

Hvardiiske (Crimean Tatar: Sarabuz, Russian: Гвардейское, Ukrainian: Гвардійське) is an urban-type settlement in Simferopol Raion of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a territory recognized by a majority of countries as part of Ukraine and incorporated by Russia as the Republic of Crimea. Population: 12,589 (2014 Census).[1]

Next to the town is an airbase "Gvardeyskoye" that is under jurisdiction of the Russian Black Sea Fleet and along with Kacha airbase is part of one military of marine aviation.
