iBall, is an Indian electronics manufacturing services company owned by Anil Parasrampuria & Shreans Daga,[2][3] headquartered in Mumbai, India, which imports computer peripherals, smartphones and tablets from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).[4]

iBall is a privately held electronics company that imports computer peripherals, smartphones, and tablets. [5] The company’ family of products include mice, desk sets, keyboards, speakers, headsets and earphones, PC cabinets and SMPS, USB products, barcode scanner, web camera, RAM, portable scanner, pen tablet, pen drive, take note, UPS, TV tuner, LED monitors, data card, portable charger, mobile phones, tablet PCs, networking products, digital lifestyle products, and more.[6][7]

History

iBall was incorporated as BEST IT WORLD (INDIA) PRIVATE LIMITED in September 2001 by Anil Parasrampuria, initially selling computer mice. As of 2011, the company sold consumer electronics products in 27 different product categories.[8][9][10][11] In 2014, iBall launched the Andi Uddaan smartphone for women. An SOS button located at the back of the phone sounds a loud siren and automatically sends text messages (SMS) to five pre-selected contacts when pressed.[12]

In May 2015, iBall launched the iBall Slide i701 in collaboration with Intel and Microsoft.[13]

In May 2016, iBall in a strategic partnership with Intel and Microsoft claimed to have launched India's most affordable Windows 10 Laptop - iBall CompBook at 9,999.[14][15]

Awards

In 2020, iBall won the MEA Award for Innovative Use of Ambient Media.[16]
