I Can See Your Voice (South Korean season 8)

The current eighth season of the original version of the mystery music game show I Can See Your Voice premiered on January 29, 2021 on Mnet and is simulcasted on tvN in South Korea.[1]

In this season, the program is taped without audience in accordance with enhanced safety protocols due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Gameplay

Format

Under the original format, the guest artist(s) can eliminate one or two mystery singers in each round, and the last mystery singer(s) standing will perform a duet.[2]

Rewards

If the winner is a good singer, they will have a digital single release. On the other hand, if the winner is a bad singer, they get a main prize of ₩5,000,000.

Rounds

There are six individuals or groups of mystery singers standing on the platform with its aliases to keep their identities concealed until stage of truth performance.

Round 1: Singer's visual

Each mystery singer reveals three keywords as an additional hint to convince the guest artist.

Round 2: Singer's lip-sync

The mystery singer lip-syncs to the good singer's voice, then the bad singer's voice comes in the middle of the performance.

Round 3: Singer's verdict

The guest artist must pick one of three given keywords, giving an opportunity to interrogate to each mystery singer after detailing additional information about them.
