Ignacio Antonio Saavedra Pino (born 12 January 1999) is a Chilean professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Chilean club Universidad Católica.

Career

beginnings

Ignacio was born into a family linked to sports. When he was six years old, he started participating in the children of Colo-Colo, until he stopped motivating himself to play, it was where he would eventually change his mind and he would go to the precordillera when he was 13, where he would enter the juveniles of Universidad Católica. Already in the student club he was burning stages quickly, demonstrating his talent which led him to be nominated to the Chilean under-20 team.[1]

Universidad Catolica

After the arrival of Beñat San José to the crossover table and thanks to the rule of sub 20. Ignacio would make his professional debut on August 4, 2018 when he faced Universidad Católica against Everton, playing 88 'minutes in the win by 2 a 1 of the student cast, from there he would become a fixed player in the squad.
