History

Before the 2018–19 season, Inter only had women's youth teams.[3] On 23 October 2018 the club acquired the sporting rights from A.S.D. Femminile Inter Milano.[2]

In Inter's first season in 2018–19, Inter won promotion to Serie A[4] thanks to an almost-perfect season with 64 points coming from 21 wins and just the one draw.[5]
