Interstate Highway Bridge

The Interstate Highway Bridge crosses the Snake River, between Clarkston, Washington and Lewiston, Idaho. The bridge is part of U.S. Route 12 (US 12), and was built in 1939.

The Lewiston-Clarkston bridge carries US 12. The photograph was taken immediately south of the bridge (and presumably from a boat underneath the bridge). Lewiston, Idaho's Normal Hill neighborhood is on the right side of the photograph.

It crosses the state line between Washington and Idaho. The bridge was the primary route between Lewiston and Clarkston, until the Southway Bridge was constructed in the 1980s.[1][2]
