Ismail Haji Nour
Ismail Haji Nour is a Somaliland politician, He is the current Mayor of Erigavo, the capital of Sanaag region of Somaliland, since October 2003. He was a well known businessman before he became the mayor of Erigavo. During the Siyad Barre regime he went to jail multiple times since he was accused of being against the regime. He is the longest serving mayor in Somaliland and the only mayor who was re-elected.
