Jakobstad-Pedersöre railway station

Jakobstad-Pedersöre railway station (Swedish: Jakobstad-Pedersöre järnvägsstation, Finnish: Pietarsaari-Pedersören rautatieasema) is located in the village of Bennäs in Pedersöre municipality, Ostrobothnia, Finland. The station serves as the passenger station of the nearby city of Jakobstad. The station building was completed in 1885.

The station was renamed Jakobstad-Pedersöre on June 15th 2020.[2] The former name was Bennäs railway station (Swedish: Bennäs järnvägsstation, Finnish: Pännäisten rautatieasema).

Services

Jakobstad-Pedersöre is served by most InterCity and Pendolino trains on the route HelsinkiSeinäjokiYlivieskaOuluRovaniemi, as well as the nighttime express trains between Helsinki and Kolari.[3]
