James J. Sullivan
James J. Sullivan Jr. is an American lawyer specializing in occupational safety and health law. He is a member of the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission, a position to which he was confirmed on August 3, 2017. His term is set to expire on April 27, 2021.[1][2] On July 18, 2019, President Trump announced his intent to designate Sullivan as Chairman of the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission.[3] Sullivan previously served as a lawyer at a number of law firms, including Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney, where he was a shareholder, and Cozen O'Connor. He was the management co-chair of the Occupational Safety and Health Law Committee of the American Bar Association's Labor Law Section from 2014 to 2017.[4][5] Sullivan was the vice president of labor and employment law and deputy general counsel for Comcast from 2000 to 2002.[6]
