James L. Mathewson

James L. "Jim" Mathewson (born March 16, 1938) is a former American Democratic politician who served in the Missouri Senate and the Missouri House of Representatives.

Born in Warsaw, Missouri, Mathewson graduated from schools from Warsaw, Missouri. He attended Redding Junior College and California State University in Chico, California. He has been the owner of a real estate appraisal firm and a broadcasting company. Matthewson has served in the U.S. Army.[1]

His wife Doris H. Angel Mathewson, a native of Sedalia, Missouri, died June 14, 2017. They had been married for over 50 years.[2]
