Jean Dubach

Jean Dubach (28 February 1930 Nidau, Switzerland) was a Swiss international football referee.[1]

Career

He officiated 11 international matches and was FIFA referee in 1973–1979. He attributed a match in 1978 World Cup (group), three matches in 1978 World Cup qualifying (UEFA), (CAF) and (AFC), two matches in UEFA Euro 1976 qualifying and a match in 1984 European Championship qualifying[2] and others were in friendly matches. He was referee of 1976 Asian Cup Final that played between Iran and Kuwait 1:0. He appointed two penalty kicks in 1976 European Championship qualifying match between Bulgaria-Germany (1:1) against one each team and all of them converted which by German Manfred Ritschel in 76th minute and by Bulgarian Bozhil Kolev in 73rd minute.[3]

In club football he officiated some UEFA competition matches such as Champions League (3), Cup Winners Cup (2) and UEFA Cup (7). He also attributed 25 Swiss Super League matches around 1976–1978.[4]
