Jonny Hill (rugby union)

Jonny Hill (born 8 June 1994) is an English professional rugby union player who plays for Exeter Chiefs.[1] He formerly played for Gloucester.

On 21 June 2015, it was announced that he would leave Gloucester to join their rivals Exeter Chiefs.[2]

Hill was selected in England's 34 man squad for their tour to South Africa.[3]

Hill is the nephew of former Rugby League international Paul Loughlin.[4]

On 29 October 2020 it was announced that he will debut for England, pairing with Maro Itoje in the second row, in their delayed final Six Nations match against Italy.[5]

On 31 October 2020 he made his England debut, pairing with Maro Itoje in the second row, in England's delayed final Six Nations match against Italy, to become the 2020 Six Nations champions.[6]

On 14 November 2020 Hill was selected for England’s opening Autumn Nations Cup match against Georgia, in which he scored his first international try.[7]
