Jordan Berry

Jordan Thomas Berry (born 18 March 1991) is an Australian professional American football punter for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL).[1] He played college football at Eastern Kentucky.[2]

College career

Berry played college football for Eastern Kentucky from 2009 to 2013.[3] In 2010, he was named to the All-OVC second team and the OVC All-Newcomer team.[4] In 2011, Berry was named to the All-OVC first team.[5] In 2013, he was named to the All-OVC second team.[6]

Professional career

Berry was signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers on 14 April 2015.[7] After a preseason in which he punted 19 times for an average of 49.8 yards per punt, the Steelers traded incumbent punter Brad Wing to the New York Giants, thus signalling Berry's victory in the position battle.

On 1 February 2018, Berry, who was due to become a restricted free agent, signed a one-year contract extension with the Steelers.[8]

On 13 March 2019, Berry signed a two-year contract extension with the Steelers.[9]

On 7 September 2020, Berry was released by the Steelers after the team signed Dustin Colquitt.[10] He was re-signed on 24 October 2020.[11]
