Joshua Pérez
Joshua Giovanni "Josh" Pérez (born January 21, 1998) is an American professional soccer player who currently plays as a forward for Spanish club UD Ibiza.

Club career
On February 4, 2016, Pérez signed with ACF Fiorentina, having trained with the club regularly since 2013.[1][2] On November 28, 2016, he made his debut against Inter Milan.[3] On August 31, 2017, Fiorentina announced that they would loan Pérez to Serie C club Livorno for the upcoming season.[4]
On August 8, 2018, Perez returned to the Los Angeles area, signing with Los Angeles FC on a free transfer.[5] Perez and Los Angeles mutually agreed to part ways on February 7, 2020.[6]
On June 25, 2020, Perez joined Segunda División B side CD Castellón,[7] but left the club on September 9, as the club was already promoted to Segunda División, without making any appearances.[8] Hours after leaving Castellón, he joined UD Ibiza in the third division.[9]
Personal life
Joshua Pérez was born in Montebello, California, son of Giovanni Pérez and Susana Figueroa Guandique. His father was born in Los Angeles, California to Salvadoran parents, while his mother was born and raised in El Salvador and immigrated to the United States. Giovanni played as a professional soccer player, where he spent time at California Emperors and also played for El Salvador's C.D. FAS, a club which Giovanni's father and Joshua's grandfather Hugo Antonio Pérez played.[10] Joshua is the nephew of former professional soccer player Hugo Pérez.[11]
