Just Communication

"Just Communication" is the first single released by J-pop duo Two-Mix. It was released on April 29, 1995. Composed by the duo of Shiina Nagano and Minami Takayama, the song was used as the first opening theme of the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, and marked the band's breakthrough into mainstream.[1]

The song was originally co-written by Kōji Makaino, but he was uncredited due to a "Virtual Artist" (ヴァーチャルアーティスト, Vācharu Ātisuto) policy imposed by ISM Artist (株式会社イズム・アーティスト, Kabushiki-gaisha Izumu Ātisuto), Two-Mix's management at the time.[2]

Cover versions

"Just Communication" has been covered by different artists for cover/tribute albums celebrating the anniversary of the Gundam franchise. Minami Kuribayashi covered the song for the 2009 album Gundam Tribute from Lantis. It was then covered by Nami Tamaki in her 2014 album NT Gundam Cover. Hiroko Moriguchi covered the song in her 2019 album Gundam Song Covers.
