Karel van der Meer
Karel Louis van der Meer (born 29 July 1905 The Hague, Netherlands - died 23 December 1978 ) was a retired Dutch international football referee.[1]
Career
He officiated 25 international matches and was FIFA referee in 1939–1956. He attributed 2 matches in 1950 World Cup, 1950 (1) and 1954 (1) World Cup qualifying, 1948 (4) and 1952 (2) Olympic Games[2] and others were in friendly matches. He also attributed 2 matches in Central European International Cup in 1953 and 1955 editions.[3]
In club football he officiated 7 Eredivisie matches in 1956-57 and 1962–62.
