Kelly Kultala

Kelly Kultala is a Democratic former member of the Kansas Senate, representing the 5th district from 2008 to 2012. She also served as the 5th District Commissioner for the government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City from 2001 to 2005. She has served on the Piper School Board and is a current member of the Wyandotte County Library Board. She is married with three children. She is a practicing Roman Catholic.[1]

Kultala was selected by state Sen. Tom Holland to be his running mate in the 2010 Kansas gubernatorial election.[2] Unopposed in the primary,[3] Kultala was the Democratic Party's nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Kansas.
