Ken Welburn

Kenneth Welburn (born third quarter 1929)[1] was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s and 1950s. He played at club level for Featherstone Rovers (Heritage № 298) (captain during the 1954–55 season), as a prop, i.e. number 8 or 10, during the era of contested scrums.[2]

Welburn made his début for Featherstone Rovers on Saturday 20 November 1948.[3]
