Kerala Students Union is the Kerala wing of National Students Union of India, the student wing of the Indian National Congress Party.[1]

KSU (Kerala Students Union) was founded on 30 May 1957 in Alappuzha. The Leaders Were KC Jose, Vayalar Ravi,AK Antony & Oommen Chandy . at that time KSU was the voice of youth. KSU became the supreme power in Kerala Politics. After Some years
Former Prime Minister of India Smt. Indira Gandhi merged the Kerala Students Union with West Bengal State Chhatra Parishad to form a national students' organisation.[2][3] Called National Students Union of India (NSUI).
