Khaidarkan
Khaidarkan (Kyrgyz: Айдаркен; Russian: Хайдаркан or more recently Айдаркен) is a city[2] in Batken Region of Kyrgyzstan. The population of Khaidarkan amounted to 10,331 (Census 2009).[1]

Khaidarkan Mercury Plant (KMP)
The Khaidarkan Mercury Plant (KMP) was the third largest producer of primary mercury in 2005. The ore reserves exploited are located in or near Khaidarkan.[3] The Minamata Convention on Mercury includes provisions which will eliminate primary mercury mining.[4]
