Khalifan District

Khalifan District (Persian: بخش خلیفان‎) is a district (bakhsh) in Mahabad County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 17,744, in 2,741 families.[1] The District has no cities. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Kani Bazar Rural District and Mangur-e Sharqi Rural District.
