Kohli (clan)
Kohli is a Khatri Rajput clan originating from Punjab in north-western India and parts of Jammu in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.

The clan is a member of the Khukhrain of the Khatri sub-caste, generally not considered by the upper groups of Rajputs as Rajput due to there occupation of trading, the other seven members being Anand, Arora, Sahni/Sawhney, Sethi, Bhasin, Sabharwal, Chadha and Suri.[1]
Kohli is also a Swiss-German surname, originally spelled Köhli.
