Kozjak, Resen

Kozjak (Macedonian: Козјак; Turkish: Kozyak; Albanian: Kojzaku) is a village in the Resen Municipality of the Republic of North Macedonia. It has 117 residents.[1]

Demographics

Kozjak is inhabited by a Turkish majority and a small number of Sunni Albanians.[2] It is one of only two villages, along with Gorna Bela Crkva, in Resen Municipality with no ethnic Macedonian inhabitants[3] and also one of two with a Turkish majority, the other being Lavci.[4]
