Krisztián Veréb

Krisztián Veréb (26 July 1977 – 24 October 2020)[1] was a Hungarian sprint canoer who competed in the late 1990s and early 2000s. He won a bronze medal in the K-2 1000 m event at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.[2]

The native form of this personal name is Veréb Krisztián. This article uses Western name order when mentioning individuals.

Veréb also won four medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with two silvers (K-2 1000 m: 2001, K-4 1000 m: 2003) and two bronzes (K-2 1000 m: 1998, 2002).

Veréb died in a motorcycle accident in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on 24 October 2020. He was 43.[1][3]
