The Kulim Hi-Tech Park (KHTP; Malay: Taman Teknologi Tinggi Kulim) is an industrial park for high technology enterprises located in Kulim District, Kedah, Malaysia.

History

KHTP opened in 1996 and became Malaysia's first high-tech industrial park.[1] It was key component in the nation's plan to be fully industrialized by 2020. The park is operated by Kulim Technology Park Corporation Sdn Bhd, subsidiary of the Kedah State Development Corporation[2][3]

Location

The park comprises a total area of 4,510 acres (18,251,322 m2). The park used to be closely accessible to port via Butterworth-Kulim Expressway (BKE).
