Kuvalayapida (king)
Kuvalayapida was an emperor of the Karkota Empire, centered in Kashmir.[1] He succeeded his illustrious father, Lalitaditya Muktapida to the throne. He was the son of Lalitaditya Muktapida and his first queen, Kamaladevi. His short reign was marked by a succession struggle between him and his half-brother, Vajraditya II, then gave up the throne and became a hermit in search of peace.[2] He was succeeded by his brother, Vajraditya, who was a son of Chakramardika, Lalitaditya Muktapida's second queen.
