"La Primavera" is a song by the German DJ/production team Sash! featuring Patrizia Salvatore. It was released in March 1998 as the lead single from their album, Life Goes On. The single was a Top 5 hit in at least 6 countries.

Chart performance

"La Primavera" was successful on the charts in Europe. It managed to reach number 2 in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Scotland. It climbed into the Top 10 also in Belgium, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy and the United Kingdom, as well as on the Eurochart Hot 100, where it peaked at number 4. In the UK, it peaked at number 3 in its first week at the UK Singles Chart, on March 29, 1998. The single spent two weeks at that position. Additionally, it was a Top 20 hit in France, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland. Outside Europe, "La Primavera" was a hit in Australia and New Zealand, reaching number 36 and 29. It earned a gold record in Belgium and Sweden, with a sale of 25,000 and 15,000 singles. In the UK, it earned a silver record, after 200,000 units were sold there.

Music video

A music video was made for "La Primavera", directed by Oliver Sommer.[1] Sommer also directed the music videos for "Encore une fois", "Stay" and "Ecuador". "La Primavera" was uploaded to YouTube in October 2016. By October 2020, the video had more than 1.7 million views.[2]
