Lebanese Political Journal

The Lebanese Political Journal was a blog covering Lebanese politics from 2005 to 2008, created in response to the assassination of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri on 14 February 2005. The blog was independent, and did not endorse any candidate or party.

Authors

The original three authors of the blog were "Lebanon.profile", ""Cedar Guardian" (Gustave Cordahi), and "zero_sum" (Rami). "Lebanese.lady" joined the blog in February 2006.

Lebanon.profile was the principal writer on the blog, with his posts widely circulated online. His identity has not been revealed, though it is known that he was a student at the American University of Beirut, and is now a political analyst for a private company, with political connections. He is from Baalbak and lives in West Beirut.
