Lee Stecklein
Lee Ethel Stecklein (born April 23, 1994) is an American ice hockey defender, currently playing with the Minnesota section of the PWHPA. Stecklein plays internationally for the United States women's national ice hockey team, and participated in the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics. She played college hockey for the Minnesota Golden Gophers women's ice hockey program.

Stecklein is from Roseville, Minnesota, and graduated from Roseville Area High School.[1] Stecklein was selected second overall by the Buffalo Beauts in the 2016 NWHL Draft.[2]
Playing career
NCAA
Stecklein played in all 41 games of her freshman season (2012–13) at Minnesota, tallying three goals and nine assists.[1]
USA Hockey
Stecklein was a member of the gold medal teams at the 2013 IIHF Women's World Championship and 2013 edition of the 4 Nations Cup.[3] She represented Team USA at the 2015, 2016 and 2017 World Championships, and the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics.
NWHL
On June 20, 2018, Stecklein signed with the Minnesota Whitecaps, in their inaugural 2018–19 season as members of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).[4] Along with Shannon Szabados, Stecklein was named one of the team captains for the 4th NWHL All-Star Game.[5]
