Legend of Ogre Battle Gaiden: Prince of Zenobia

Legendary Ogre Battle Gaiden: Prince of Zenobia (伝説のオウガバトル外伝 ゼノビアの皇子, Densetsu no Ōga Batoru Gaiden: Zenobia no Ōji, Legendary Ogre Battle Tale: The Prince of Zenobia) is a strategy video game developed by Quest for the Neo Geo Pocket Color, and is the only Ogre Battle title to not be released in English due to the system being discontinued in areas outside Japan.

The game serves as a side story (or gaiden) to Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen, taking place at the same time and following the quest of Prince Tristanwho also appears in the aforementioned titlefrom its beginning.

The Prince of Zenobia is almost identical to March of the Black Queen in appearance and gameplay, but presents different areas and new character classes.

Reception

Famitsu magazine scored the game 28 out of 40, with individual scores of 8, 7, 7 and 6.[1] Enterbrain produced a guidebook for the game, and Dengeki Bunko created a novel based on the events in this game, released on August 2000.
