Leo Traister

Leo Owen "Doc" Traister (September 9, 1919 – September 26, 2020) was an American football and basketball coach. He was the ninth head football coach at Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois, serving for 11 seasons, from 1956 until 1966, and compiling a record of 11–62–6.[1] Traister was also the head basketball coach at Eureka for 17 seasons, from 1957 to 1974, tallying a mark of 168–195.

Traister was a World War II veteran.[2] He died on September 26, 2020, in Eureka.[3]
