Shahroud district is located in the south of Khalkhal and its center is the city of Klor. Shahroud district has 34 villages. These villages are located in three villages of Shahroud, Shal and Palanga.

Lord village is part of Palanga district. The name of this village is taken from the name of a big mountain which is located on its eastern side. Lord village is located 27 km from the city of Klor, the center of Shahroud district. The main road of this village is 65 km long from Shahroud route and the secondary road is 32 km away from Bafrajard village route with Khalkhal city, the center of Khalkhal city. The village is connected to the village of Miyan Rudan from the north, to the village of Karnagh from the south, to Klor from the east, to the village of Droo to the village of [Krain] to the southeast, and to the towering mountain of Aq Dagh from the west.

This village is the largest village in Khalkhal city and currently has 926 households and a population of nearly 4,000.
