Lindsey Russell
Lindsey Russell is the 36th presenter of the long running BBC television programme Blue Peter who hosted with Barney Harwood from 2013 to 2017 and with Radzi Chinyanganya from 2013 to 2019, as well as briefly hosting with Helen Skelton for a month at the start of her tenure in 2013. She currently presents the show with Richie Driss, Mwaksy Mudenda and Adam Beales.

Career
She was successful in a competition to find the next presenter for Blue Peter that attracted 20,000 applicants and was judged by a panel that included TV presenters Eamonn Holmes and Myleene Klass. She won the role shortly after graduating from the University of Bristol after a four-year French and drama course.[1]
In 2016 Russell attempted to cross the 21 miles between Northern Ireland and Scotland in a three-metre zorb in aid of Sport Relief.[2] She had to eventually abort the attempt due to bad weather.[3]
