List of MNL48 members

MNL48 is a Filipino girl group formed in 2018 as a sister group of the Japanese idol group AKB48. The 1st generation members have been selected through live auditions in a noontime show It's Showtime . On May 2, 2018 they formed the current 3 teams (Team MII, Team NIV, and Team L). As of May 2020, The group consists of 66 members. among these members are the Kenkyuusei (Japanese: 研究生) or Research Students.

Members that left the group are considered "graduates" and sometimes given a special graduation show or graduation concert. There are also cases where a member resigns, dismissed or get terminated.

The first and current captain of MNL48 is Alice Margarita De Leon from Team MII.

Overview

As of February 6, 2021, MNL48 consists of 36 official members, divided into three teams:

  • Team MII – 13 official members
  • Team NIV – 12 official members
  • Team L – 11 official members

In May 2019, the Tokyo Girls Collection Senbatsu (widely known as Trainees or Kenkyuusei) was established. It consists of 14 members (all from 3rd Generation).
