YGGDRASIL is a Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game released in 2126 that is discontinued after 12 years of standing as the top DMMO-RPG. Momonga, guildmaster of Ainz Ooal Gown, is conversing with guild mate Herohero during the last moments of YGGDRASIL in their guild hall, The Great Tomb of Nazarick. Herohero bids farewell to Momonga and logs out. Momonga is enraged about his friends leaving the game, but cools down after noting that they did not abandon the guild – it was that they had real life issues to deal with. Now all alone in Nazarick except for NPCs and still engrossed in the memories of the past, he takes the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown and heads to the throne room. On the way he orders Sebas and the Battle Maids to follow and meets Albedo there. On a whim, he changes her settings to be in love with him as its originally setting created by Tabula was that she was an absolute "bitch". Momonga closes his eyes to await the forced logout by server but realizes something is wrong as he is not ejected and remains in the game. He discovers, to his astonishment, that the NPCs have developed their own personalities and can be directly communicated with as if they were humans. Albedo, in particular, begins exhibiting the personality traits based on the settings Momonga made, much to his shock. Momonga attempts to test the limits of this new discovery but is forcefully calmed down. He also notices he can smell now, which was not possible in the game so far. Dazed at all that has occurred, Momonga orders Albedo to call every guardian except those from 4th and 8th floor to meet him in the arena floor. He teleports himself to the arena to test his skills. There he meets the Floor Guardians Aura Bella Fiora and Mare Bella Fiore Momonga asks them to help him test out his newfound powers. After they finish sparing with the Fire Elemental Spirit they are given refreshments by Momonga at which they are surprised. shortly after the Floor Guardians enter the Arena and introduces themselves.

The Guardians astonished at his dark aura of instilling fear and intelligence leaves to do their assigned works while Momonga continues to test his capabilities in the New World and went outside with Demiurge and glances at the world and jokingly comments that conquering the world might not be a bad thing and Demiurge misunderstands this as an actual order.

While using a magic mirror to examine nearby lands with the help of Sebas, Momonga discovers a village under attack from knights of unknown affiliation. At first, Momonga intends to ignore the slaughter. But when he remembers the debt he owed to his guild mate 'Touch Me', he decides to save the villagers and arrives there through a gate which make the soldiers afraid while they were about to kill two siblings Momonga casts a high tier spell and it easily kills one of the two soldiers and uses the dead soldier to make a death knight and oders it to kill every soldier in the area. 4 | "Ruler of Death" Transcription: "Shi no shihai-sha" (Japanese: 死の支配者) | Masaki Matsumura | Yukie Sugawara | July 28, 2015 | [8]
Nigun Grid Luin, the captain of the Sunlight Scripture of the Slane Theocracy marches on Carne Village with a team of magic casters to kill Gazef. Realizing this, Gazef attempts to convince Ainz Ooal Gown (Momonga's new name) to defend the village to no avail, so he sets out with his men to confront them while Ainz assists the villagers in escaping. Gazef and his men fight bravely, but they are beaten severely by Nigun's men. Before Nigun's magic casters can deal the final blow, an item that Ainz had previously given Gazef activates and swaps the latter and his men with Ainz and Albedo. Ainz reveals that his whole scheme was to test the power that the Slane Theocracy's men had, and that he was using Gazef to do so. Immediately, Ainz begins effortlessly batting away the attacks of Nigun's men, much to their shock. This leads Nigun to activate a 7th tier spell, summoning a powerful angel to attack Ainz. The attack barely inflicts pain on Ainz, which he scoffs about. Albedo, however, is infuriated that someone hurt her "beloved" Ainz and threatens to massacre them. Ainz calms her down, and then proceeds to obliterate the angel with a black hole. Dumbfounded and horrified at the power Ainz displayed, Nigun begins to beg for his life. Laughing, Ainz responds by quoting one of Nigun's previous statements. After the battle, Ainz returns to Nazarick to announce his name change and their goal of spreading his new name, Ainz Ooal Gown, across these new lands. However, his servants misinterpret this as a declaration that he wishes to rule the world.
5 | "Two Adventurers" Transcription: "Futari no bōken-sha" (Japanese: 二人の冒険者) | Mihiro Yamaguchi | Yukie Sugawara | August 4, 2015 | [9]
Ainz and Narberal (one of the Battle Maids of Nazarick) take on the aliases of Momon and Nabe, respectively, in order to join the adventurer's guild in the city of E-Rantel to learn more about the world. Several complications arise when "Momon" finds it troublesome to keep "Nabe" from blowing their cover while rowdy adventurers try to win Nabe's attention (which only annoys her). Meanwhile, a dangerous necromancer and a bloodthirsty female assassin plot a takeover of E-Rantel.
6 | "Journey" Transcription: "Tabiji" (Japanese: 旅路) | Ryōichi Kuratani | Yukie Sugawara | August 11, 2015 | [10]
Momon, Nabe, and the Swords of Darkness are hired by Nfirea to accompany him to Carne Village. On the journey, the party is attacked by a large group of Goblins and Ogres. A battle plan is made quickly; while the Swords of Darkness pick off the goblins, Momon and Nabe would eliminate the ogres. As the fight proceeds, Momon immediately breaks formation and instantly bifurcates several ogres to the shock of the Swords of Darkness. The other goblins and ogres panic and retreat at the sight of Momon cutting down their kin. Later, around a campfire, Momon and Nabe share a tense moment with the rest of the group when one of the Swords inquires about Momon's past.
7 | "Wise King of Forest" Transcription: "Mori no ken-ō" (Japanese: 森の賢王) | Masayuki Ōzeki | Yukie Sugawara | August 18, 2015 | [11]
Momon's group arrives at Carne Village and meet Enri Emmot and her Goblin Troop. Enri tells Nfirea why the village is fortified and she also mentions Ainz Ooal Gown, the red potion that healed her, and Albedo which leads Nfirea to conclude that Momon is Ainz Ooal Gown. Nfirea apologizes to Ainz for deceiving him and Ainz tells him not to reveal his identity to anyone. Overhearing this, Nabe immediately becomes distraught as she was responsible for Nfirea uncovering Momon's identity. Later, as Nfirea requests the Swords of Darkness along with Momon and Nabe to help him collect medical herbs in the forest, Momon learns of the "Wise King of the Forest", a supposedly powerful magical creature. Seeing an opportunity to gain fame, Momon contacts Aura back in Nazarick and has her draw out the beast from its den. The beast angrily runs out of its den and charges Momon. Momon immediately recognizes the beast as a giant Djungarian hamster, a species that one of his guild mates kept as a pet in real life. Noting how much of a disappointment the Wise King was, Momon instead opts to use one of his skills to scare the beast into submission. Aura, seeing this, asks if she can take its pelt, but Momon decides to make the King his servant instead. Naming the Wise King Hamsuke, Momon introduces Hamsuke to the Swords of Darkness who are in awe over its wisdom. Momon, however, is floored by their perception of Hamsuke as he can not see her as anything other than a giant cute hamster. After successfully collecting the herbs, the group returns to E-Rantel. Momon and Nabe then part ways with the group to register Hamsuke while the Swords of Darkness return to the pharmacy for their payment from Nfirea. The group is intercepted by Clementine, however, who menacingly mocks the group.
8 | "Twin Swords of Slashing Death" Transcription: "Shi o kirisaku sōken" (Japanese: 死を切り裂く双剣) | Kunihiro Wakabayashi | Yukie Sugawara | August 25, 2015 | [12]
Clementine appears in front of Nfirea to kidnap him. The Swords of Darkness attempt to buy time for Nfirea and Ninya to escape but Khajiit blocks their way of escape. After registering Hamsuke at the Adventurer's Guild, Momon's group meets Lizzie Bareare and guides them to her house. However, they find the Swords of Darkness turned into zombies. After killing them off, Momon immediately deduces three things: first, whoever did it did not hide the bodies, meaning they did not care to cover their tracks. Second, a piercing weapon was used to kill the Swords. Third, their target was Nfirea. With this knowledge, Momon asks Lizzie if she wants to hire him to save her grandson at the cost of all she has. Agreeing to the pseudo "Faustian Contract", Momon uses several locator spells to track Clementine to an old cemetery on the edge of town. Using Crystal Monitor, Momon discovers an undead army with Nfirea at its center. Ordering Lizzie to alert the guild and town, Momon immediately rushes to the cemetery. Upon arriving at the gate, Momon astonishes the guards by single-handedly annihilating the undead attacking them despite being only a copper plate. Along with Nabe and Hamsuke, Momon carves a path to Khajiit and Clementine. Confronting them, he mocks Khajiit and demands that they hand over Nfirea while also drawing out Clementine. Momon then leaves Nabe to deal with Khajiit while he and Clementine leave to take their battle elsewhere. As Momon and Clementine are walking, the latter attempts to psychologically taunt Momon. Momon brushes it off with laughter, and then enrages Clementine by declaring he does not need to fight seriously to kill her.
9 | "The Dark Warrior" Transcription: "Shikkoku no senshi" (Japanese: 漆黒の戦士) | Masaki Matsumura | Yukie Sugawara | September 1, 2015 | [13]
Momon and Nabe begin their respective fights against Khajiit and Clementine. Khajiit summons two skeletal dragons that he declares are impervious to magic, but this is proven partially false as Nabe easily obliterates both the dragons and Khajiit with a seventh tier spell (as the dragons can only block six and below.) Momon, continuing to give Clementine a handicap, clashes with her repeatedly. Furious at how Momon repeatedly mocks her as weak, Clementine charges Momon with a full force attack and stabs him in both eyes with elemental strikes. Momon brushes off the move to Clementine's shock and pins her with a one-armed bear hug. Revealing his true nature as an undead, Ainz torments Clementine that she was defeated by a magic caster that did not even use magic. Visibly shaken, Clementine snaps and flails relentlessly while thrashing at Ainz to release her. Her efforts prove futile, and Ainz crushes her body with both arms, killing her. Ainz then returns victorious with Narberal, Hamsuke, and Nfirea, and for his efforts is immediately promoted to Mithril rank. As he discusses his new promotion with Narberal, Ainz contacts Albedo who alerts him that Shalltear Bloodfallen has rebelled against Nazarick.
10 | "True Vampire" Transcription: "Shinso" (Japanese: 真祖) | Mihiro Yamaguchi | Yukie Sugawara | September 8, 2015 | [14]
Shalltear is outside Nazarick, trying to find Martial Arts users with Sebas and Solution. After encountering some bandits, she sends Sebas and Solution back to the kingdom and goes to the bandits' base, where she confronts their leader, Brain Unglaus, who knows Martial Arts. However. he is so weak compared to her that she does not even realize that he is using them. She then goes into a Blood Frenzy and kills all of the bandits except Brain, who escapes. She tries to follow him, but encounters Adventurers, who are there to fight the bandits. She kills all of them except Brita, who had Ainz's red potion, which makes Shalltear believe that Ainz wanted her alive. When she realizes that one adventurer was set to run away beforehand should it all go bad, she tries to find him, but ends up being attacked by some unknown people who attack her with a weapon; but not before she manages to wound the user. After Ainz hears that she has betrayed Nazarick, he decides to go to her and find out why.
11 | "Confusion and Understanding" Transcription: "Konran to haaku" (Japanese: 混乱と把握) | Ryōichi Kuratani | Yukie Sugawara | September 15, 2015 | [15]
Ainz and Albedo find Shalltear and Ainz states that even though Shalltear is under mind control, she was left behind without any orders. Ainz attempts to use a Super Tier magic item to free her, but it fails. Because of this, Ainz realizes that Shalltear has been mind controlled by a World Class Item, the strongest of all types of items. He decides to equip the Floor Guardians with the World Class Items that Nazarick has to protect them before he goes to fight Shalltear; but he also states that Shalltear is one of the Strongest NPCs in Nazarick and that he might not be able to beat her.
12 | "The Bloody Valkyrie" Transcription: "Senketsu no ikusaotome" (Japanese: 鮮血の戦乙女) | Masaki Matsumura | Yukie Sugawara | September 22, 2015 | [16]
Ainz, while being observed by the other available Floor Guardians from Nazarick, finally goes and confronts Shalltear, who proves to be on par with Ainz. But Ainz beats her with a special move, after which she uses a skill to prevent her death, at the cost of using up all her mana. However, Ainz then states how everything has been going according to his plan.
13 | "Player VS Non Player Character" Transcription: "PVN" | Kunihiro Wakabayashi | Yukie Sugawara | September 29, 2015 | [17]
Ainz and Shalltear Bloodfallen continue their fight. However it is revealed that outcome of their fight was already predicted by Ainz. Using the knowledge about Shalltear, provided by her creator and his friend Peroronchino, he had the whole battle preplanned. With his MP reduced, he changed to a warrior class and used the World Champion armor. Then using various other cash shop items and finally using a super tier spell, Ainz defeats and kills Shalltear. Then back at Nazarick, Ainz resurrects Shalltear using 500 million gold. However, Shalltear has no memory of her time under mind control, although it is revealed that the Slane Theocracy was responsible for it. Momon and Nabe return to the guild to look for a new job, and it is shown that he has been promoted directly to adamantite class, making them the third Adamantite party in the kingdom. |

14 | 1 | "The Dawn of Despair" Transcription: "Zetsubō no Makuake" (Japanese: 絶望の幕開け) | Tatsuya Shiraishi | Yukie Sugawara | January 10, 2018 | [19]
In the Slane Theocracy, the Captain of the Black Scripture and Zesshi Zetsumei discuss the mystery of Ainz Ooal Gown for his growing celebrity as a magic caster, and a recent vampire attack which killed two Scripture members and severely wounded Lady Kaire. Zesshi expresses intrigue in Ainz, as she seeks a man capable of defeating her so as to sire for her a more powerful child. Meanwhile in another location, former adventurer Rigrit of the original 13 Heroes and the Platinum Dragon Lord discuss the possibility that a dark and powerful player from YGGDRASIL may have arrived to this New World. In the Re-Estize Capital, Gazef Stronoff is with the King as the nobles of the Kingdom decide to bring the annual war to Baharuth, and the King apologizes for not having sent full support for the events of Carne Village. After a brief visit by Princess Renner and her squire Climb, the King asks Gazef to request a meeting with Ainz Ooal Gown to show his gratitude for saving Gazef. After Ainz finishes a job as Momon, he returns to Nazarick to give a debriefing to Albedo (simply ecstatic at his return) of what he has learned in relation to the notable nation states in the known world in proximity of Nazarick's position on the map. Aura, overseeing the construction of the decoy replica of Nazarick, receives a gift from Ainz in the form of a talking wristwatch with the voice of her creator Lady BukubukuChagama dictating Lunch Hour. Meanwhile, Shalltear (guilt-ridden by her mind control attack Ainz) drinks herself into a stupor while Eclair, Sebas' assistant Butler, fails at trying to cheer her up. Cocytus is sent to start a war with the Lizardmen and claim the fallen for a later army of undead. In the village of the Lizardmen, Green Claw Tribe Chieftain Shasryu discuss daily life with his younger brother Zaryusu when a monstrous entity comes from the clouds.
15 | 2 | "Departure" Transcription: "Tabidachi" (Japanese: 旅立ち) | Naoyuki Itō Kazu Terasawa | Yukie Sugawara | January 17, 2018 | [20]
The dark entity which descends from the sky is a herald forewarning the Lizardmen of the Green Claw Tribe of an invasion in eight days time. Zaryusu advises an alliance with the other Lizardmen tribes- Small Fang, Razor tail, Dragon Tusk, and Red Eye. But as Dragon Tusk has survivors of defeated Tribes Yellow Speckle and Sharp Edge, there is little to no hope of alliance with them. Zaryusu is permitted by his brother the Chieftain to be the envoy to seek an alliance with the other tribes. Reaching the Red Eye tribe, Zaryusu meets Crusch Lulu the Interim Chief/Priestess of the village. Enamored by her, he instinctively lets out a mating cry desiring to marry her. After an awkward start, the two discuss an alliance and reach a consensus. Planning to build an alliance, Zaryusu and Crusch arrive in the Dragon Tusk village and meet the Chieftain Zenburu Gugu, who also received the herald's message, but will only join the alliance if Zaryusu can prove his worth in combat. Back in Nazarick, Demiurge talks with Eclair, and it is revealed both are aware of Eclair's hidden agenda to usurp Nazarick's Throne as that was his design by Ankoro Mochi Mochi. As a decoy replica of Nazarick is under construction, Cocytus is informed by his subordinates of Demiurge's scroll mission and the need to report regularly. Cocytus takes this news, and readies his army for the coming war in a few days.
16 | 3 | "Lizard Men, Gathering" Transcription: "Tsudou, Rizādoman" (Japanese: 集う、蜥蜴人) | Hiro Soetakazu | Fūta Takei Yukie Sugawara | January 24, 2018 | [21]
Zenburu fights Zaryusu, and they wager the role of Chief and Crusch for a mate. Zaryusu realizes his physical strength is less than Zanburu, but uses his Frost Pain, a magic item, to freeze Zenburu with each attack, causing Zenburu to yield realizing he can not keep fighting an item which will kill him as he fights. The group parties to discuss the alliance, and Dragon Tusk joins in. Heading to the Razor Tail Tribe, the first attack site of the herald's message, Shasryu greets the trio and everyone gathers for a scout reports the odds are against them with forces 3:1. Cocytus views on a crystal monitor their gathering and orders the attack. The Lizardmen put up a moderate resistance, until the five Chiefs use their Magic Caster abilities to quickly summon Swamp Elementals. Entoma informs Lord Ainz, who views the situation with the Battle as unexpected. Cocytus messages Demiurge for insight, the latter informing him to think for himself as to how to ration and deploy troops against the Lizardmen, as it may be the undisclosed wish of Lord Ainz. Cocytus orders an Elder Lich Caster Commander into the fight, tearing down resistance with relative ease. Seeing their chance to enter the fight, Zaryusu sacrifices his steed, the Hydra Snake Rororo, to get in close to the Lich to fight alongside Crusch and Zenburu, who are later rendered incapacitated, leaving Zaryusu to muster what strength he has left to trap himself and the Lich Commander in a massive ice cage. After much pain and many attacks, Zaryusu is victorious by surprise attacking the Lich in a fog and driving his Frost Pain into the former's brain. With the Lizardmen victorious in the battle, Cocytus must answer to Ainz.
17 | 4 | "Army of Death" Transcription: "Shi no Gunzei" (Japanese: 死の軍勢) | Tatsuya Shiraishi | Yukie Sugawara | January 31, 2018 | [22]
The Lizardmen celebrate victory; Zaryus and Crusch are alone in a tent blushing, when Zenburu barges in wondering if their "having fun"- much to their shock. Back in Nazarick, Ainz introduces 8th Floor Guardian 'Victim' to the others, to prepare for unforeseen encounters; Demiurge was successful in making higher quality scrolls using Sheep Beastmen; Ainz promises to fulfill Shalltear's need for punishment later on. Lastly, as Cocytus was defeated, Ainz explains he gave Cocytus a weak army so he would learn to adapt and reapply resources as a leader. As all of Cocytus' forces were low tier undead, there was no risk for Nazarick. But Cocytus must face punishment: he is to eradicate the Lizardmen. Cocytus instead asks the Lizardmen be spared into servitude of Nazarick. When Ainz asks why, Demiurge steps in proposing it could benefit them to see how governing a new people under Nazarick would work, as they may have to again in the future and starting now would help prepare them. Ainz agrees, but demands Cocytus rule them by means without fear. Ainz only wanted to hear Cocytus' free opinion, demanding his Guardians think over their orders so as to bring greater benefit to Nazarick. After departing, Demiurge states to the Guardians that Ainz intended for all this, wishing they learn to be more interdependent in their goal for conquest, and Cocytus' mission was also a probe of the Lizardmen. In his bedroom, Momonga is happy his guardians are learning to evolve, and also notices a familiar floral scent (Albedo's). The next day, the Guardians and Ainz himself return to the battlefield in a grand show of force: freezing the lake, Gargantua (twice the height of the forest) throws a massive stone in the center of the lake, and the undead perform a royal procession for Ainz to sit atop the stone and speak before the Lizardmen. When the Shasha brothers act as representatives, Demiurge uses controller magic to have them bow properly before Ainz' decree: Cocytus will arrive in 4 hours time to fight them on his own, and if they win they're forever free of Nazarick. The Five Tribe leaders discuss sending only themselves, with Crusch to stay behind and lead. As she argues against this, the Tribe Leaders leave Zaryusu to talk with her- they both accept that there will be death and Crusch demands Zaryusu impregnate her to preserve their love.
18 | 5 | "The Freezing God" Transcription: "Hyōketsu no Bushin" (Japanese: 氷結の武神) | Kazuaki Terasawa | Yukie Sugawara | February 7, 2018 | [23]
The Lizardmen champions- The Shasha Brothers, Zenburu, with Kyuku Zuzu and Sukyu Juju (Razor Tail and Small Fang Chieftains respectively) prepare for battle with Cocytus. During this preparation, Ainz and his guardians enter a temporary base of operations while Victim Guards the First Floor as they are out. Upon seeing a make shift throne for himself by his guardians, he opts to use Shalltear as a chair as her due punishment (when really he felt uneasy about sitting in a chair made of bones); this enrages Albedo but hyper stimulates Shalltear's pleasure. While observing the Lizardmen, the Mirror of Remote Viewing stumbles on Zaryusu and Crusch having sex- which starts a conversation Ainz forces to be quiet. The Lizardmen champions stand ready, and Cocytus arrives to do battle equipped in his Floor Guardian gear. Many Lizardmen die leaving only the Shasha brothers. Cocytus asks for their names and grants them the honor of death by his God Slaying Emperor Blade. Repeating the fog and surprise attack maneuver, they are easily countered and Shasryu is killed. Later, Ainz congratulates Cocytus for his victory and summons Crusch over for a deal: report and monitor her people for any signs of rebellion and Ainz will revive Zaryusu. Crusch agrees and Ainz resurrects Zaryusu (suffering confusion and level loss from the YGGDRASIL resurrection function) among the villagers- who now worship him a god. After pledging their fidelity, Zaryusu asks for his brother and Zenburu be returned as well, and Ainz takes it into consideration having the Lizardmen keep their bodies safeguarded. Tired, Zaryusu and Crusch go to get rest.

While still in the Re-Estize capital, Sebas goes to the Magician's Guild to purchase a spell scroll, and on his way back to the mansion stumbles upon a brutalized young woman who, after remembering the words of his creator Player Touch Me, takes her to safety. The man who threw her away begs Sebas not to as he will be killed by the Eight Fingers crime syndicate for allowing an asset to be taken; Sebas gives the man money to flee town as a response. Upon his return, Solution is taken aback by Sebas' care for the young girl and having Solution heal her of injury. Waking up she is fed, and breaks down crying for being shown the level of kindness Sebas has given, and revealing her name is Tuare. Sebas orders Solution not inform Lord Ainz, stating it is not worth his time knowing about a meager human girl. Meanwhile, Gazef has breakfast with Brain Unglaus, who is in a depressive state following his encounter with Shalltear, and Gazef tries to help him. Out in a secluded region, Adamantite Adventurer Team Blue Rose destroys an illegal crop used in the production of a powerful narcotic called Black Dust. While scouting, Blue Rose member Evileye finds a parchment with code which can lead them to the leaders of Eight Fingers. As the same time, the heads of Eight Fingers discuss the crop burning and the girl's rescue by Sebas. At the table, Zero, head of Eight Fingers Security, promises Coco Doll, head of the Slave Department, that his men will return the girl to their possession.

As Ainz reviews the New World finances, he finds it difficult to manage funds for the Lizardmen budget and the undercover Nazarick agents. Narberal, as Nabe, comes to Ainz in regards to the various ore samples he had bought to do an appraisal experiment on the Exchange Box, to see which ore from where yields the most gold. He gives Nabe all the money he has left, reminding her to be covert and pleasant to humans for their covers, and silently frets on financial woes. Elsewhere, Climb is given a sparring session by Gazef, who informs Climb of Ainz Ooal Gown, having saved his life, for the young bodyguard to remember. After the spar, Gazef notes to his Vice-Chief that Climb's power can not go pass that of a Gold ranked Adventurer and his efforts will not change that, but he can still learn from experience. Across the way, Gazef sees Prince Zanac talking with Marquis Raeven, likely forming an alliance despite Kingdom factions as Raeven is an opportunist. Meeting with Princess Renner, Climb is introduced to Blue Roses Leader Lakyus Alvein Dale Aindra along with one of Blue Roses' Twin Assassins, Tina. Under Renner's guidance, they learn the code they discovered at the Black Dust crop is really a list of locations of importance to Eight Fingers in the capital city. One location not listed, is an underground brothel in the capital, and Blue Roses brings Climb to investigate alongside them; however, remembering a Nobleman's daughter serves as one of Renner's maids, they worry of their plans having been uncovered. Meanwhile, Sebas has Tuare serve as the maid of the manor he and Solution are using as cover to better sell that identity, but are later found by Succulent (an Eight Fingers agent) and Constable Staffan Havish. The two 'ask' for compensation for Sebas' purchasing Tuare despite the Anti-Slave laws, so as to be pardoned for his 'crime'. Permitting Sebas two days to think over their proposal, the two take their leave. As Sebas goes on a "walk" to clear his mind, Solution messages Ainz to inform him Sebas may have been compromised.
21 | 8 | "A Boy's Feeling" Transcription: "Shōnen no Omoi" (Japanese: 少年の思い) | Shinsuke Gomi | Satoko Sekine | February 28, 2018 | [26]
Climb heads to an inn where Gagaran and Evileye are having lunch and informs them that Lakyus wants them to be ready to mobilize. As the conversation goes on, Evileye informs the both of them of the new Adamantite team "Darkness", which is made up of the adventurers Momon and Nabe with The Wise King of the Forest as a pet - leaving Gagaran astounded by their reported feats. Climb wishes to be capable of such strength, but the duo advise him to go his own pace, and not to lose his humanity in pursuit of power. Meanwhile, Brain Unglaus runs errands for Gazef, and goes past a crowd watching a group of drunk men assaulting a boy for simply bumping into them; Climb also goes by the crowd and moves to stop the matter. Both see Sebas move with skill and speed to resolve the matter in one punch. They separately follow the butler into an alleyway, where Climb enthusiastically asks Sebas for a quick lesson in strength after witnessing him recently. Sebas sees Climb as trustworthy and gives him a lesson: how to overcome fear of death. By flooding Climb's sense with killing intent, Climb dodges at the last possible instance by overcoming his fear by thinking of Renner. Brain, having witnessed this around the corner, is moved by Climb's ability to overcome intense fear and asks to also learn from Sebas. However, the trio are beset by five assassin's sent by Succulent- of which Sebas downs three, for the last two to be handled by Brain and Climb. With their attackers downed, Sebas uses a skill to easily interrogate one of them on where to find Succulent and the Eight Fingers. The trio move together out of a grown respect for each other, and move to destroy Eight Fingers in the Capital of Re-Estize. They head for Succulent's brothel – the same place Sebas rescued Tuare from.

Sebas, Brain and Climb arrive at the brothel and use two entryways: the front door to the main brothel, and the side entrance to the underground storage area. Climb and Brain take the latter door, while Sebas charges the front. Sebas forewarns the duo that if needed, he will kill opposition inside if he is forced to, with the both of them understanding; they only ask that the Eight Fingers leaders Coco Doll and Succulent be captured. Sebas easily removes the steel door and knocks away the guards, and comes across Constable Staffan Havish mercilessly assaulting a slave girl for pleasure. Sebas bitch slaps Staffan into a bloody state, and after the Constables pleas for mercy with money, Sebas concludes he is unworthy of life and kicks him in half. Brain and Climb stop their opposition and locate a trap door (courtesy of items by Gagaran) leading to the underground storage. While Brain scouts further in having Climb stand watch, Coco Doll and Succulent arrive by a hidden passage in front of the young warrior. Succulent uses his illusion magic to gravely injure Climb, until Brain returns and defeats him with his God Slash Technique. The trio are successful in apprehending two of the Eight Fingers, and return to their respective homes: Brain returns to Gazef's home and the two have dinner discussing Climb's progress and Shalltear by name; Sebas returns to the manor, only for Solution to be in her Pleiades attire, telling him Ainz is in the next room waiting to speak with him; Climb returns to Renner, who is pleased he is safe. After Climb retires for the night, Renner calls in the maid she knows is spying on her to tell her about how amazing Climb was- only for her to actually plan on killing the maid for disrespecting Climb within her earshot. Late at night, Zero gathers the remaining members of Six Arms to kill Sebas, Climb, and Brain for opposing them.

Ainz (actually Pandora's Actor in disguise) investigates Sebas' possible betrayal, with Demiurge, Victim, and Cocytus as witnesses. He orders Sebas to kill Tuare to confirm his loyalty. Sebas does so and, having his attacked blocked by Cocytus, is proven to be a steadfast servant to Nazarick. After the real Ainz arrives, the Overlord hears Tuare’s full name and realizes she is the sister of Ninya (the spell caster from the Swords of Darkness), thus he allows Sebas' request of having her as a provisional maid. In the Royal Palace, Renner and Blue Rose meet to discuss the raids on Eight Fingers, but Marquis Raeven and Prince Zanac arrive with a solution to the lack of manpower. After a mild topic of Renner's true persona, she reveals she has damning intelligence on the Royal and Noble Factions, and coerces Raeven to lend his private army to the simultaneous raids of Eight Fingers. He reluctantly agrees, and Zanac reveals their eldest brother Barbro has a hidden storehouse in trade with Eight Fingers, which is now added to the map. Renner also reveals her ace against the syndicate, aside from Blue Rose's aid, is Gazef Stronoff. After a long day of acquiring materials for Demiurge to feed his livestock of Arbelion Sheep (humans), Sebas and Solution return to the manor to find Tuare missing and a note from Six Arms challenging Sebas for her freedom. Solution reminds Sebas of Ainz's words, and they message their master of the situation. Ainz, preoccupied as Momon elsewhere, relays to Albedo to send reinforcements. While initially hesitant to aid a human, she relents and sends the forces for Demiurge to command onsite to destroy Eight Fingers. Albedo, to herself, then thinks of the name Ainz Ooal Gown after the Guild name to be ridiculous, preferring Momonga - as evident by his original player banner draped on the wall, and the guild flag on the floor.

After Sebas departs to rescue Tuare from Six Arms, Demiurge lays out the plan for his "Operation: Gehenna" to the Pleiades, Mare, and Shalltear. Meanwhile in the Royal Encampment, Climb and Brain team up with former adventurer Lockmyer to raid one of the known Eight Fingers bases. There they encounter Sebas, who was summoned to the same base as the trio to fight the Six Arms. When Sebas encounters four members of Six Arms, he takes a few seconds to kill them and the surrounding customers. Solution reports that Zero is not amongst the patrons. Elsewhere at Hilma's residence, she wakes up to find her home encased in shrubbery. Encountering Mare, he breaks her leg to drag her away, leaving Entoma to empty the manor. While Entoma is snacking on a human body part, Gagaran has a chance encounter with her and fights the bug maid thinking she is with Eight Fingers. Blue Rose members Tia and Evileye arrive, and together they overpower and defeat Entoma. Before the finishing blow, the bug maid is rescued by Jaldabaoth and taken to safety. After Gagaran and Tia are killed by the demon's Hellfire Wall, an enraged Evileye charges at the demon but is halted by the arrival of Momon.

Evileye requests Momon's help to defeat Jaldabaoth, to which he obliges. Momon (Ainz) proves himself to be Jaldabaoth's (Demiurge’s) equal while defending Evileye at the same time, which results in Evileye developing romantic feelings for Momon. Jaldabaoth eventually leaves the fight, claiming to search for an item within the city, and that he will guard the region the item is in. While Evileye wants to follow him, Momon decides not to, citing the reason as Jaldabaoth’s restrained fighting. She accidentally angers Momon and Nabe, when she mentions how Gagaran, Tia and herself nearly killed Entoma. Meanwhile, Brain, Climb and Lockmyer are escorting Tuare out when the encounter Zero, who challenges Brain to a fight. Together, Lockmyer and Climb manage to beat Succulent disguised as Tuare, while Brain and Zero prove to be evenly matched. Sebas, after rescuing the real Tuare, wanders in and discovers the fight. To the disbelief of Zero, Sebas states that the Six Arms were all killed. He abandons his fight with Brain and unleashes his strongest attack on Sebas, who takes it without flinching and kills Zero with a single drop kick. Sebas leaves with Tuare, but promises to return the debt he owes to Climb and Brian for their assistance in her rescue. A circle of fire created by Jaldabaoth emerges within the city, and is seen by everyone. Princess Renner arranges for the adventurers and the soldiers to enter the ring and kill the demons present inside, while Climb, Brain and Lockmyer attempt to save the citizens. Momon, Nabe and Evileye are to move into the center to fight Jaldabaoth. It is revealed that she intends to use the adventurers and soldiers as cannon fodder, while Momon's group moves in to kill Jaldabaoth.

The Adventurer Coalition moves in to rescue the captured civilians in the residential sector, while the royal guards hold back a wave of demons until Momon, Nabe and Evileye arrive. Brain notices a disguised Shalltear and challenges her in order to give his comrades time to escape. Brain manages to cut Shalltear's fingernail with Four Fold Slash of Light, and happily retreats while she is distracted. As he runs, Shalltear notices Climb and Lockmyer, leaving them behind after remembering the order Demiurge gave her. The three find a warehouse of civilians and are faced with the people pleading for their taken loved ones; confirming the Princess' theory of family separation. As Momon, Nabe, and Evileye encounter Jaldabaoth, they see his five Masked Demon Maids. While the female adventurers handle the maids, Momon battles Jaldabaoth. Lakyus fights off wave after wave of demon hordes while support mages heal wounded adventurers, until Gazef arrives with the King's personal army. Elsewhere, Demiurge and Ainz speak in private in an abandoned building to discuss Demiurge's full plan. Lastly, all blame is to be laid on Jaldabaoth in order to boost Momon's fame. As Evileye fights, a hidden Narberal calmly chats with three of her sisters. As Mare gives the Earthquake signal, the maids return to their intended roles. Evileye regroups with Nabe, and Jaldabaoth is thrust into the scene by Momon. Jaldabaoth calls for a retreat, and the disturbance comes to an end. The adventurers and soldiers gather and hail Momon a hero of the Kingdom. Elsewhere, Aura captures the remaining Eight Fingers leaders and makes them servants to Ainz Ooal Gown. After some resistance, Hilma urges the Dark Elf Twins to let her make them loyal out of fear of returning to Kyouhukou for torture. Aura allows it, affirming they now control half of the country. In the Baharuth Empire, Fluder Paradyne informs Emperor Jircniv Rune Farlord El Nix that, while investigating Ainz Ooal Gown, he concludes the magic caster is greater than or equal to his level of magical power. While wishing to meet Ainz personally, Jircniv orders Fluder to investigate Adamantite Adventurer Momon as well. |

Following the events in Re-Estize, Ainz has some of the Floor Guardians take a day off. The ladies (Albedo, Shalltear, and Aura) spend time by the Sixth Floor Lake where Albedo learns she can not ride her Bicorn mount summon due to her being a "pure maiden"- to the other two's shock; while Ainz sends a memo to the male Floor Guardians to meet later for a bath house gathering for relaxation. Later on, as Ainz is in his personal quarters practicing his "Overlord Posturing" he exits to meet with Mare and Albedo; but after a heartfelt admission of joy over having them in his life, Albedo succumbs to her lust and tries to rape Ainz in his office. It is with the total efforts of the guards and Mare that Albedo was removed. In the evening, the men are relaxing in the spa house, but hearing Albedo blatantly try to climb the wall, when a defense golem programmed by Luci★Fer attacks them for "lacking bathing manners"; Ainz orders the male floor guardians to help the ladies, internally hoping next time they will have more time to relax.

Ainz brings together the NPCs to review the grand plan overall with Demiurge recounting; when really he just wants to learn the demon's thought process. It is revealed that all the NPCs are planning world domination, with Ainz completely oblivious. As Demiurge states this was Ainz's goal, ascertained by his actions, starting with Carne Village being subjugated with no casualties and having the residences living peacefully. Thus, it meant Ainz wanted world domination, and experimenting on ruling his subjects. Meanwhile at Carne Village, Nfirea is spending entire nights developing a potion for Ainz, while Enri is caring for the Goblin Troop as they teach and protect the village; Enri has even given names to each goblin. The only new resident to the village was Brita, who quit as an adventurer after surviving her encounter with Shalltear. After running low on medicinal herbs, Enri, Nfirea, and three Goblins search the forest for said herb. Finding a growing patch, they see a wounded Hobgoblin child being hunted by a Barghest, so the Goblins supported by Nferia kill the dark beast, saving the child. Nfirea uses the experimental Purple Potion to fully heal Agu, the boy hobgoblin; Agu explains that he was attacked by minions of the Giant of the East, who himself has allied with the Demon Snake of the West. This shifts the balance of power in the forest, threatening the village.

Enri, Nfirea, and the Goblin Troop bring Agu to Carne Village to inform them of the situation in the Great Forest: sometime ago, the Monument of Ruin was being built and guarded by Undead, and after the Great Beast of the South (Hamsuke) vanished, the Giant of the East allied himself with the Demon Snake of the West to defeat whoever this master of the Undead may be. Taking into account a possible threat, Brita goes to inform the Vigilante Committee to ready evacuation procedures, while Nfirea asks Lupusregina to deliver a Purple Potion to Ainz with a progress report. While Lupus nominates to ask Ainz for aid, Enri believes they should do their own efforts first. After the meeting, the Goblin Troop warn Agu not to trust Lupusregina, that she is more dangerous than she lets on. At night, the Goblin Troop find the rest of Agu's tribe and group of Ogres; one Goblin, Jugem, instructs Enri to act as Alpha to make them submissive, which works and they swear loyalty. As the survivors need medical treatment, Nfirea must stay up all night while Enri goes to E-Rantel in the morning. Arriving at the main gate, her Goblin General Horn is detected and is about to be put in custody, until Momon arrives to vouch for her and she is released. As Enri goes about her day, Momon covertly allows her to ask the Adventurer's Guild for aid with the trouble in the Forest. After a hectic day, Enri meets her Goblin Troop and offer new weapons out of thanks for all they have done for the village; with the Troop in a state of intense gratitude. Upon return, Enri is voted as new Village Chief, but is taken aback by this and consults Lupusregina and Nfirea. After a self-reflective talk with Nfirea, Enri decides to accept the position. Over the village high above, Lupusregina is met by Yuri Alpha for a summons by Ainz; when asked why she smiling, Lupusregina answers that the village dynamic has shifted and she would love to see the faces of the residents if the whole village were to burn down, hoping to see the village destroyed.

Ainz reprimands Lupusregina for her failure to report on Carne Village. Lupusregina states that she did not think it was important, but Ainz informs her of Nfirea's value and orders her to protect him, Enri, and Lizzie above all else. Afterward, Ainz and Aura goes to find the Giant of the East and Demon Snake of the West to see what sort of monsters they are. They discover the Giant is a large troll named Guu and the Demon Snake is a naga named Ryraryus. Ainz offers them to submit or die. Ryraryus quickly complies after failing to escape, however, Guu refuses and the two duel. Guu's attacks prove ineffective and Ainz neutralizes him and the remaining trolls and ogres. Afterwards, Ainz has Demiurge review the menu for a dinner Ainz is planning when Ainz is informed that the village is under attack and gives Lupusregina permission to engage.

As the battle begins at the front gate, Enri and Nfirea search the village to ensure everyone is safe when they see a troll climbing over the rear gate. To prevent the troll from finding the hidden villagers, the two distract it by disguising their odder. However the troll catches on and Nfirea tells Enri to run for help and confesses his love to her. Nfirea continues to fight the troll while Enri gets backup, however, he is overwhelmed by the troll strength. Just before the troll is about the kill him, Lupusregina appears and kills the troll. The battle at the gate also ends successfully and Lupusregina informs Nfirea and Enri of Ainz's invitation to a dinner at Nazarick.

Royal Mage, Fluder Paradyne is told that the adamantite adventurers from Darkness, wish to meet him. Meanwhile, the Worker group, Foresight, prepares to take on a mission exploring an undiscovered tomb within the borders of the Re-Estize Kingdom. The mission, appears to be well-paying albeit dangerous, but they have accepted it since one of their members, Mage Arche, needs money to take her little sisters and escape her heavily in-debt parents who refuse to cut back on their spending. They meet up with three other Worker Groups; Green Lead, Heavy Masher and Tenmu. They have all been hired by a noble of the Baharuth Kingdom, who has also hired Momon and Nabe as extra protection. Just before they all set off on the job, Momon inquires as to the reason why all of the Workers have agreed to this mission, to which they reason, "Money". Momon accepts the answer, deeming his question as unnecessary.

The Workers arrive at Nazarick and briefly explore the outside and discover immense riches. They all decide to move deeper inside, except for Green Leaf, who decides to stay outside as a guard and look for other routes inside, while also secretly using the other groups as Canaries. Inside Nazarick, the groups are quickly separated in their eagerness to find more treasure. Outside, Green Leaf encounters the Pleiades, who summon a series of powerful Undead warriors called Nazarick Old Guarders, who make quick work of the worker group, slaughtering all of them. Heavy Masher is chased by a number of Elder Liches briefly, before the members are teleported to two places; Some are transported to the Black Capsule, where they are fed to cockroaches; the family of Area Guardian, Kyouhukou. One other member is teleported to the torture chamber and is tortured by Neuronist Painkill, presumably to death. Tenmu encounters Hamsuke, who is training to become a warrior. After a brief fight, the leader of Tenmu, Erya Uzruth is killed easily after Hamsuke activates the Martial Arts, Slashing Strike and beheads him. His elf slaves are left alone, after they start to kick his body, leaving Hamsuke uncertain as to what to do with them. Foresight is teleported to the 6th Floor Arena, where they are introduced as invaders and will be facing Ainz himself.

Foresight tries to apologize to Ainz for trespassing into Nazarick, but Ainz rebuffs their words, refusing to listen to their excuses and declaring them to be worse than maggots for daring to enter Nazarick as thieves, without permission. The leader of Foresight, Hekkeran tries to bluff and say they received permission from a "large monster", but Ainz sees through the lie, which enrages him further. He initially attacks them with a sword and shield, but while he overwhelms them in strength, their own skill, experience and ability to work as a team, allow them to remain relatively unharmed. Ainz decides he has "played" enough and reveals himself as a magic caster; Arche initially denies his claim until Ainz shows off his true power, which he had concealed during the physical battle. The impact from this reveal shocks Arche to the point where she vomits in sheer terror and Foresight once more attempts to fight back, but fails miserably, with Hekkeran ending up paralyzed. Roberdyck and Imina, tell Arche to flee after Hekkeran falls, in order to go back to her sisters. Once she runs away, they beg Ainz to grant her mercy, and he accepts, but only by telling Shalltear to show Arche the depths of despair and then to kill her painlessly. He then beats Roberdyck and Imina easily. He keeps Roberdyck for mental experiments, while Imina and Hekkeran are given to Gashokukochuuou; a parasitic NPC. Arche attempt to run away from Shalltear, and fails when she discovers that she is actually underground and there is no way out, after which Shalltear reveals her true form and kills her. Mara and Aura later travel to the Baharuth Empire, where they confront Emperor Jircniv for sending the Workers into the tomb and demand that he atone for this crime.

Emperor Jircniv travels to Nazarick to apologize for the invasion of Nazarick, and is immediately given a show of Nazarick's power when they use Tier 6 magic easily, and use Death Knights, monsters capable of slaughtering armies for menial tasks like setting tables. Ainz further shows off his power, when he is given the head of the noble who was responsible for sending Workers to Nazarick (albeit, secretly on Jircniv's orders) and turns it into a Death Knight. Ainz reveals his intention to crush anyone who would dare go against him, and restore peace to his surroundings, and Jircniv extends an offer of friendship to protect the Baharuth Empire, while suggesting that Nazarick establish a proper kingdom, but secretly intends to set up an alliance behind his back in order to defeat him. However Demiruge has already figured out the Emperor's plan, and reveals it to Ainz and the other NPCs later. Jircniv realizes that Fluder Paradyne has actual been working with Ainz the entire time, and has betrayed him; This is confirmed in a flashback, where Ainz has revealed his true power to Fluder, who in turn pledges his undying loyalty to Ainz, in exchange for giving Fluder the opportunity to "peer into the abyss of magic".

Ainz establishes the Sorcerous Kingdom of Nazarick, and demands that the Re-Estize Kingdom withdraw from all lands around E-Rantel, claiming they belong to the Sorcerous Kingdom, and the Baharuth Empire backs them. Gazef requests the king to do as Ainz asks, claiming fighting Ainz would be a terrible idea, but the King refuses as doing so would be a sign of weakness and he cannot afford to show weakness when the Royal Faction in Re-Estize has begun to grow in strength after the Jaldabaoth Incident. Marquis Raeven agrees with this path, and is set up as commander for the war. Crown Prince Barbro is eager to prove himself and tries to join in, but instead is sent to Carne Village to question the villagers about Ainz. Barbro decides to draft the villagers once he has questioned them in order to use them as hostages against Ainz. Ainz arrives at the Baharuth Army camp before summoning his army of Death Knights.

Barbro's army arrives at Carne village, and Enri, the new chief, struggles to delay them as they hid the goblins and ogres. Barbro has a watch tower burnt down as a threat, but the action only reminds the villagers of the incident Ainz saved them from, inspiring the villagers to take up arms against Barbro for Ainz. Lupusregina watches the incident unfold and is broadcasting it to Ainz. Enri and Nfirea decide to lead the women and children out from the back, while the able-bodied men, goblins and ogres act as a distractions from the front. The strategy seems to work, but the soldiers present at the back notice the fleeing villagers, and in an attempt to delay them Enri blows on the second goblin horn Ainz gave her, but somehow summons not a small group of mercenary-like goblins but an army of goblins 5000-strong. Ainz is surprised, but theorizes that the horn in fact hides a true power that no one has unlocked, and that Enri somehow managed to unlock these conditions. The Goblin Army proves to be more than a match for Barbro's conscripts and send them running, saving the village. Later, Barbro's army is surrounded by Level 41 Redcaps, and Lupusregina who reveals her intentions of massacring Barbro's remaining army and himself. Barbro attempts to bargain, pointing out that he is the crown prince, but Lupusregina is unconcerned pointing out that he is not necessary for Ainz' plans.

Jircniv reveals to his advisors that he plans on having Ainz cast the first stone in the upcoming war, in order to truly gauge his strength and to reveal the threat he poses to the world, hoping to use that and have the Re-Estize kingdom realize the necessity of an alliance. The Baharuth Empire's 60,000-strong army consists of well-trained knights, while the Kingdom's army is 240,000 strong, but consists mainly of average people; Conscripts over trained soldiers. Gazef and Raeven are at the front-lines, and Gazef has been given the four treasures of the kingdom; adamantite armour, a magic sword called Razor Edge that can cut through anything, Gauntlets of Endurance that provide endless stamina and The Amulet of Immortality that provides regeneration. Ainz approaches the front lines with his army of Death Knights, but proceeds to begin casting a Super-Tier spell. On realizing the danger Ainz poses, Raeven and Gazef attempt to issue order to retreat, but fail to do so in time. The left flank of the Kingdom's army, consisting of 70,000 men, charges as Ainz casts the spell, Iä Shub-Niggurath, which slaughters the entire left flank and proceeds to sacrifice them to summon 5 massive monsters called 'The Dark Young', who he directs towards the Kingdom's army to literally crush underfoot. Gazef attempts to fight back, but the Dark Young prove to be unstoppable, until Ainz walks onto the battle-field and approaches Gazef and asks him to become his subordinate in exchange for calling off the Dark Young. Gazef refuses even as Ainz tries to goad him, and just as Ainz is about to continue the massacre, Gazef challenges Ainz to duel.

Gazef challenges Ainz, despite knowing that he has no chance of winning, and Ainz accepts the duel. Before fighting, Ainz examines Gazef's sword to reveal that he has unknown properties and despite being imbued with lesser amounts of Mana, it is able to harm and possibly kill Ainz. The duel begins, Climb is asked to be the starter of the duel and asks if he can use a magical bell. Ainz agrees. After ringing the bell, Climb uses a time-stop spell to stop time and Ainz uses a counter spell to block it. He kills Gazef instantly. He calls off the Dark Young, out of respect for Gazef, but warns Brain that if the Kingdom refuses to surrender, then they will rampage through the Capital. Jircniv is informed about Ainz's power, much to his horror. The King and Nobles of the Kingdom are terrified at the result, and have no choice but to give up E-Rantel, as per Ainz's demands. Brain and Climb believe that Gazef's useless attempt to fight Ainz was a way to help them learn more about him, to set up their defences and Brain vows to become better than Gazef. Ainz arrives at E-Rantel in a large procession, but all the people hide inside out of fear. A child attempts to throw a rock at Ainz, but the sign of disrespect has Albedo attempt to execute him, until he is saved by Momon. Momon, played by Pandora's Actor, is enlisted by Ainz to act as a City representative and law enforcer. This is revealed to be part of Demiruge's plan in order to find and kill any enemies as the humans will rally under Momon, while Momon serves Ainz. The Guardians once more pledge their fidelity to Ainz as the Sorcerer King, and he declares it to be the founding of the Sorcerous Kingdom. |

Ainz summons the Floor Guardians (except Gargantua and Victim) and Pleiades Combat Maids, and shows them the item "Total Maniac-Modified", which Yuri points out has the power to destroy the world. Upon activation, Shalltear becomes a self-loathing person, Cocytus starts saying perverted things openly, Demiurge starts adding weird random words to his sentences, and Aura and Mare act more childish. Ainz states that the item has an effect that makes them open their heart, and agrees with Demiurge's explanation that this is an experiment to how they act upon affected by mental condition. Ainz interviews Shalltear in his room, accompanied by CZ and (uninvited) Albedo. Shalltear and Albedo waste no time to start bickering with each other. When asked about the reason they always fighting, Shalltear states that the main reason is about their chest size, since all men thinks that "big breasts are justice". Ainz denies this, and states that there are people who likes flat chest too, and stuttered "hinnu" instead of "hinyuu" (flat-chested), though the others think that the term is cute. Then Ainz is asked the question: does he like big breasts or small breasts? To avoid any problems, Ainz ends the segment there and then. Ainz interviews Aura, Mare and Cocytus, accompanied by Entoma. Ainz notes that Aura has not changed much, which Aura states it is because she is always honest with herself. Cocytus keeps spouting perverted delusion (similar to the usual Albedo), so Ainz asks him to be silent, which makes him cry. In an attempt to cheer him, Entoma takes out a cockroach, which frightens Cocytus. Mare catches the cockroach and the siblings roast it. Entoma points out that cockroach is more delicious to be eaten raw and starts eating. In the midst of the chaos, Mare asks Ainz about the person he likes, shocking him. Albedo feels like she was called by Ainz, and Lupusregina jokes that it is a skill that big breasted people have, shocking Shalltear. Ainz asks them what they like the most, and Aura, Mare and Entoma all answers "Lord Ainz", but Cocytus almost says "breasts", though he corrects his answer before he spouts it out. Ainz interviews Demiurge and Sebas, accompanied by Entoma and Solution. Demiurge still add random words to his sentences. Sebas tries to restrain himself from acting wildly, though he really wants to. He get the chance to do so when Demiurge said that Ainz asked them to act casually, but Solution states that the Sebas now is his true self, so he has no option but to restrain himself and act like everything is normal. Solution suddenly becomes plump, shocking Sebas (who screams), and in return shocking Ainz (whose emotion gets regulated). Ainz states that Solution took a challenge to eat 10 humans at once, causing her to get fat. Yuri, Lupusregina and Narberal arrive in the Treasure Room. She states that the "Total Maniac-Modified" is different from the one she saw last time, and accuses that it is made by Pandora's Actor, because the puppet's face on the item looks exactly like Pandora's real face. Demiurge joins the talk, and reveals that the item actually has no effect on him, and him talking weirdly is just an act. Pandora explains that since making an item that affect personality is hard, he had a prototype that turns someone's personality to simple quality – sexually open, self-loathe on their complexes, amplifying childish tendencies, in short, changes into any character. In the end, it is revealed that Ainz actually took the prototype, since the prototype and the real item have no differences in shape prior to being used (even Pandora can not tell the differences). In Ainz's room, everything becomes chaotic. In order to cure the effect, Pandora takes out the hammer-looking item "Total Calmness", which cancels the effect of "Total Maniac-Modified" upon hitting the affected people. As the leader of the Guardians, Albedo takes charge in resolving the problem – Solution and Lupusregina confront Shalltear; Entoma and CZ confront Cocytus; Sebas (still affected) confronts Aura and Mare; Yuri and Narberal to guard the door; Demiurge to hit the targets with "Total Calmness" (Albedo assigns herself to guard Ainz, which the latter does not want to tsukkomi). Upon being healed, the affected people forget what happened, and Demiurge told a lie that the destruction of Ainz's room is caused by Yuri's Flying Head Attack. For safety, Ainz hits Demiurge and Albedo with "Total Calmness" before decides to do the same thing upon himself. Afterwards, Pandora, in an attempt of getting screentime, states that it is just a beginning towards more madness (denied by Ainz). Alone in his room, Ainz thought that they can talk honestly with each other while bathing, and a mind-reading CZ points out it could be a foreshadowing. |
