List of State Basketball League champions
Every year around late August and early September, Basketball Western Australia hosts a grand final weekend for the State Basketball League (SBL) to determine the champion teams of the Women's SBL and Men's SBL. The current format of the WSBL championship game on the Friday night and the MSBL championship game on the Saturday night has been in place since 2001. All grand finals have been played in a one-game championship decider, except in 1995 when a best-of-three series was introduced for both competitions.[1]

Up until 1990, the event was held at Perry Lakes Basketball Stadium. In 1991, the event was moved to the much larger Perth Superdrome, where it remained until returning to Perry Lakes in 2000. In 2010, the WA Basketball Centre replaced Perry Lakes as the home of basketball and as the SBL Grand Finals host venue.[2]
