Richard "Dick" Grayson (portrayed by Brenton Thwaites) is a vigilante known as Robin and was Batman's former sidekick who left him due to anger. Dick was a child when he witnessed the death of his parents John and Mary during a trapeze performance. Since then, he was in care of Clayton Williams until billionaire Bruce Wayne adopted him. However, Dick attempts to runaway several times until he eventually stops. As a teenager, Dick fought alongside crime fighting duo Hank Hall / Hawk and Dawn Granger / Dove, the latter whom Dick had a relationship with unbeknownst to Hank. Dick decides to leave Batman and resign from being Robin then moves to Detroit as a police detective. In the episode "Asylum", Dick burns his Robin suit. In the season one finale, Dick enters a Trigon possessed world in which he is married to Dawn and has a son named John after his father but is driven into the darkness by killing Batman. In the season two premiere, he is saved by Rachel.

Koriand'r (played by Anna Diop) is a princess from the planet Tamaran who escapes her world from claiming her royalty. She adopts the name "Kory Anders" and lives in Vienna, Austria. Kory finds herself hunted by gangster Konstantin Kovar, Kory's ex-boyfriend, who felt betrayed by her in her search for a teenage girl named Rachel Roth but is killed by Kory. It is later discovered that Kory was sent to secure and kill the "Raven" as "Starfire" but hesitates to do so.

Rachel Roth (portrayed by Teagan Croft) is a teenage girl with supernatural abilities who is on the run from the Nuclear Family whose leader - Dr. Adamson wants to use Rachel to free her father Trigon to destroy Earth. However, she seeks help from Dick after seeings visions of his past. Dick promises to protect her with help from Hank, Dawn, Kory and later Garfield "Gar" Logan. Rachel's mother Angela finds Rachel but lures her to her house where she injures Gar in order for Rachel to free Trigon who heals Gar. Rachel manages to free Dick from Trigon's trance and kills the latter.

Garfield "Gar" Logan (portrayed by Ryan Potter) is a metahuman who can shape shift into any animal he wishes. Gar was exposed to a disease which he was cured from by Dr. Niles Caulder who introduces him to the Doom Patrol where he meets Rita Farr, Clifford Steele and Larry Trainor who were also saved by Dr. Caulder from near death. Gar encounters Rachel who tells her about the Patrol. Dr. Caulder manages to contain Rachel's supernatural abilities. The Patrol convince Gar to join Dick to start a new ordinary life.

Jason Todd (portrayed by Curran Walters) is the current Robin and Batman's sidekick succeeding Dick. Jason arrives to save Dick and his team from Dr. Adamson's captivity.

Donna Troy (portrayed by (Conor Leslie) was the former sidekick of Wonder Woman. She helps Dick stop Kory from killing Rachel. After Trigon's defeat, she and Kory become a metahuman fighting duo until Donna is contacted by Dick when Slade Wilson / Deathstroke re-emerges from retirement.

Conner Kent (portrayed by Joshua Orpin) is an angsty, superhuman teenager searching for purpose and the truth about his past. He learns that he is a clone created from the DNA of Superman and Lex Luthor.

The character was previously portrayed by body double Brooker Muir in the first season.[1]

Blackfire (portrayed by Damaris Lewis): A Tamaranean royal and Kory's sister.

Dr. Adamson (portrayed by Reed Birney) is a high-ranking member of Trigon's organization

Angela Azarath (portrayed by Rachel Nichols) is Rachel's biological mother, secretly in allegiance with Trigon.

The Nuclear Family are a group of people that were brainwashed by Dr. Adamson to be assassins and work to retrieve Rachel for Trigon.

Dad (portrayed by Jeff Clarke) is the patriarch of the Nuclear Family. He is killed by Kory.

Mom (portrayed by Melody Johnson) is the matriarch of the Nuclear Family.

Sis (portrayed by Jeni Ross) is the daughter/sister figure of the Nuclear Family.

Biff (portrayed by Logan Thompson) is the brother/sister figure of the Nuclear Family.

Nuclear Stepdad (portrayed by Zach Smadu) is the second patriarch of the Nuclear Family following the death of Dad.

Trigon (portrayed by Seamus Dever who also motion-captures his demon form) is a powerful demon who is the father of Raven.

Bruce Wayne / Batman (portrayed by Iain Glen) is a billionaire who moonlights as a feared vigilante named Batman in Gotham City. He also serves as Dick's former mentor.[2] Bruce's vigilante persona Batman was previously portrayed by stunt doubles Alain Moussi and Maxim Savarias in the first season.

Stuntmen Alain Moussi and Maxime Savaria make uncredited appearances as Batman in season one during a dark future that Trigon has Dick experience.

Kryto (portrayed by dog actors Wrigly, Digby, and Lacey in season two,[3] Pepsi in season three[4]) is a dog and companian of Connor who has Kryptonian powers.

William Wintergreen (portrayed by Demore Barnes) is a loyal associate of Slade.

Doctor Light (portrayed by Michael Mosley) is a former physicist who became a criminal after discovering that he can control light.

Joseph Wilson (portrayed by Chella Man) is Slade's mute son who has the power to possess other people's bodies through eye contact.[5]

Walter Hawn (portrayed by Raoul Bhaneja) is the vice president of special projects at Cadmus Laboratories.

Mercy Graves (portrayed by Natalie Gumede) is Lex Luthor's ruthless, cunning right-hand woman and bodyguard.[6]

Adeline (portrayed by Mayko Nguyen) is Jericho's mother and Deathstroke's ex-wife.

• Melissa Roth (portrayed by Sherilyn Fenn): Rachel's adoptive mother.
• Sister Catherine (portrayed by Meagen Fay): The head of a convent that Rachel resided in as a child.
• Becky Bond (portrayed by Cara Ricketts): A social worker who managed Bruce's adoption of Dick.
• Rita Farr (portrayed by April Bowlby): A member of the Doom Patrol and former actress, who has difficulty maintaining a solid form after being exposed to a toxic gas.[8]
• Niles Caulder / Chief (portrayed by Bruno Bichir): A medical scientist and the leader of the Doom Patrol, responsible for saving the lives of its members and giving them residence in his mansion.[8]
• Shyleen Lao (portrayed by Hina Adbullah): A young woman who develops the ability to control temperature from being covered in liquid nitrogen.
• Clifford "Cliff" Steele / Robotman (performed by Jake Michaels, voiced by Brendan Fraser): A member of the Doom Patrol and former car racer, whose brain was transplanted into a robotic body after an accident destroyed his own.[8]
• Larry Trainor / Negative Man (performed by Dwain Murphy, voiced by Matt Bomer): A member of the Doom Patrol and former pilot wrapped entirely in bandages after being exposed to negative energy. Murphy physically portrays Negative Man while Bomer provides the voice of the character and appears as Larry in photos.[8]
• Asylum Doctor (portrayed by Rachael Crawford): The unnamed head of Agnews Asylum.
• John Grayson (portrayed by Randolf Hobbs): Dick's father who was killed in a sabotaged trapeze performance.
• Mary Grayson (portrayed by April Brown Chodkowski): Dick's mother who was killed in the same sabotaged trapeze accident as her husband John.
• Clayton Williams (portrayed by Lester Speight): A nightclub security guard who was previously a strongman at Haly's Circus and Dick's caretaker before Bruce adopted Dick.
• Tony Zucco (portrayed by Richard Zeppieri): The gangster responsible for the deaths of Dick's parents. He was later killed by mobsters from the Maroni crime family.
• Nick Zucco (portrayed by Kyle Mac): Tony Zucco's vengeful son who plotted revenge on Dick Grayson for what befell his father. He targeted the other members of Haly's Circus before being defeated by Dick and Jason Todd.
• Graham Norris (portrayed by Damian Walshe-Howling): An international poacher and contact of Donna.
• Don Hall / Dove (portrayed by Elliot Knight): The original vigilante partner and younger half-brother of Hank Hall.[9] Jayden Marine plays the young Don.
• Marie Granger (portrayed by Marina Sirtis): Dawn's mother.
• Vincent (portrayed by Trevor Hayes): A child molester who was Hank's football coach.
• Thomas Carson (portrayed by Jeff Roop): The sheriff in Angela's hometown and former high school classmate of hers.

• Luis (portrayed by Julian Works): An undocumented immigrant from Corto Maltese detained in Kane County Correctional Facility with Rafi and Santos.
• Santos (portrayed by Rey Gallegos): Rafi and Luis's cellmate at Kane County Correctional Facility and fellow Corto Maltese undocumented immigrant.
• Psychiatrist (portrayed by McKinley Freeman): An unnamed psychiatrist who encounters Kory in Las Vegas.
• Stuart (portrayed by Currie Graham): The creator of Dick's costume who is posing as a shoemaker.
• Clark Kent / Superman (portrayed by Payne Novak as a child): A Kryptonian that is Earth's greatest superhero. His DNA was used to create Connor.
