She received one Screen Actors Guild Award from seven nominations, for her work on the NBC sitcom Friends. She earned nominations for a Critics' Choice Television Award and a Golden Globe Award for her work on the ABC/TBS sitcom Cougar Town. Cox also received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for her work as an executive producer on the game show Celebrity Name Game.
