List of footballers with 500 or more goals

In top-level football, 51 players have scored 500 or more goals over the course of their career, according to research by the Rec.Sport.Soccer Statistics Foundation (RSSSF).[1] Only those who were active at the highest level football for most of their careers are considered. The rankings below take into account goals scored in official matches played with national teams and clubs in all divisions while directly reflecting RSSSF data.[1]
