Los Bukis
Los Bukis (The Bukis, buki translates as Little Kid in Yaqui language) are a Mexican Grupera band from Ario de Rosales, Michoacan. In 1975 the band was founded by cousins Marco Antonio Solís and Joel Solís. Their first song was Falso Amor ("False Love") and its style became popular in all of Latin America. Marco Antonio wrote the songs; the album "Me Volvi A Acordar De Ti" in the year of 1987 sold one million records in just a few weeks after its launch earning the album "diamond" status. He also wrote and produced albums for artists such as Marisela, Rocío Dúrcal, Beatriz Adriana, Lucero, El Pegasso de Emilio Reyna (now using the name El Pega Pega) and María Sorté. After twenty years of success, Marco decided to pursue a solo career. An agreement was made with the remaining band members, both parties agreed to not make any use of the word "buki". The remaining members formed a new band called Los Mismos ("The Same Ones") as in "the same members of Los Bukis".

Possible reunion
In 2017, Eusebio "El Chivo" Cortez and Pedro Sanchez left Los Mismos to join Jose Javier Solis and formed a new band named Los BK'S. Los BK'S was chosen because they cannot make use of the original name as Marco Antonio Solís owns copyright ownership of the name. The purpose of the band is to reunite Los Bukis for one final tour and say good-bye to the fans. Jose Javier Solis in an interview stated that all of the original members are welcome to join. Marco Antonio Solís in an interview said that the reunion tour was done without merit and only he will give an announcement should Los Bukis reunite. Marco Antonio Solís also said that they can make use of the songs but not use of the name Los Bukis as it was a special significance in his career and for the other members. He also mentioned that Joel Solis and Roberto Guadarrama are not part of the reunion tour Roberto Guadarrama continues to be involved with Los Mismos. As of 2020 Los BK'S continue to perform and have released their debut studio album titled Tu' Amor in 2019. No official word if any of the other members will join Los BK'S has been given.
