Luc Déry

Luc Déry is a French Canadian film producer. He was co-founder of the Montreal-based production company micro_scope, with Kim McCraw.[1]

He is from Hull (Gatineau), Quebec, and studied film at the University of Montreal and arts management at York University.[2]

With McCraw, Déry specialized in "smart, high-end pics designed to attract interest outside Canada".[1] Their films Incendies (2010) and Monsieur Lazhar (2011) both won the Genie Award for Best Motion Picture,[3][4] and both were nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.[1]
