Lynda Blanchard

Lynda Blanchard (born July 4, 1959) is an American businesswoman who has served as the United States Ambassador to Slovenia from 2019[1][2] until 2021.

On July 18, 2019, Blanchard was confirmed for the ambassadorship by the U.S. Senate with a 55–41 vote.[3] She was nominated for the position by President Donald Trump in June 2018.[4]

Blanchard earlier began and operated the 100X Development Foundation, the purpose of which is to help the poor and children. She is married to John Blanchard, a businessman in real estate. Together they donated over $2.6 million to Republicans from 2015 to April 2019.[4]

As a Trump political appointee ambassador she resigned from the post following the inauguration of President Joe Biden and was succeeded by Susan K. Falatko as Charge d'Affaires.[5]
